The Mercer County, Kentucky 1810 Federal Census record enumerating Henry Bunger transcribed below:

Males under 10 (2) William G. and Samuel Dean, Males 10-15 (1) Unknown, Males 26-44 (1) Henry Bunger, Females under 10 (1) Mary, Females 26-44 (1) Barbara

Note:
The 1810 census record enumerating Henry Bunger offers a male age 10-15 undiscovered.
It seems the sons of Valentine Burger began their migration to Kentucky from Virginia just before 1800 settling first in Mercer County, Kentucky.  Sometime between 1810 and 1820 the families remove to Hardin County, Kentucky nearly 80 miles further west.

The Hardin County, Kentucky 1820 Federal Census record enumerating Henry Bunger transcribed below:

Males 10-15 (1) Samuel Dean, Males 16-25 (1) William G. Males 45 and over (1) Henry Bunger Females 10-15 (1) Mary Females 26-44 (1) Barbara

Note:
Sometime before 1820 Jacob Bunger, older brother to Henry and Phillip Bunger, and his family migrated to the area settling first in Hardin County, Kentucky then removing to Monroe County, Indiana before 1830.  It is noteworthy that a Phillip Bunger (enumerated as a Junior) age 16-25 is censused in Hardin County, Kentucky in 1820.  This Phillip is researched to be the son of Jacob Bunger and Mary Margaret House.  Due to the absence of the undiscovered male in 1820 that was enumerated in the household of Henry Bunger in 1810, it is a possibility that this Phillip Bunger may actually be the "Unknown" male born 1799-1800 in the household with Henry and Barbara Bunger in 1810.  Phillip Bunger, brother of Henry Bunger, had no males in his household in 1810 of the age of the son named Phillip, though possible this younger Phillip was a nephew living in the household of Henry Bunger.  Jacob Bunger, the older brother born 1768/69, is also enumerated in 1820 in Hardin County, Kentucky though he is not found on the 1800 Kentucky tax list nor any Federal Census record in 1810.

Henry Bunger and his brother Phillip are enumerated in Hardin County in 1830 and 1840.

The 1850 Meade County Federal census record enumerating Henry Bunger can be viewed below:

Meade County, Kentucky was officially formed on December 17, 1823 from parts of Hardin and Breckinridge Counties.  All 56 miles of the counties northern border face the Ohio River.  It appears that son Samuel Dean Bunger born 1805 was providing care for his parents in their older years and moved to nearby Meade County between 1840 and 1850.

Bunger Cemetery can be accessed from Bunger Road just off of Garrett Road in Meade County, Kentucky

Note:
Bunger Cemetery holds numerous burial plots with simple stones for grave markers, it is believed to be the final resting place of Henry Bunger and his wife of Barbara Garrett.   They are researched to have flat type stones for grave markers that have the engraving of their initials "BB" and "HB"

Barbara Garrett was born about 1771 in Virginia.  Barbara is researched to be the daughter of Thomas Garrett and Ann Curry of Pittsylvania County, Virginia. A Thomas "Garriott" provided a letter to Bondsman Jacob Bunger giving permission for his daughter Barbary to marry Henry Bunger in 1798.  Barbara is listed as age 17.  Phillip Bunger, brother of this subject, married Mary Garrett on January 1, 1798 Madison County, Virginia.  It is likely that Barbara and Mary Garrett were sisters.

Henry Bunger and Barbara Bunger passed away within a few months of each other after having been married for over 60 years.
